Yang :
Deconstruction of Cloister Black
Combining the traditional character of my last name (Yang/杨) with an iconic english font (Cloister Black), the project reflects myself as a student with both the influence of Chinese traditions and Western culture.
I deconstructed the font to extract their unique traits, then I integrated the english font style with “Yang” to reflect my dual cultural Background.
